Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Project FR collects, uses, stores, and shares information when schools, staff, athletes, supporters, and other users access or use the Project FR platform and related services.

1. Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through Project FR websites, applications, fundraising pages, dashboards, donation flows, messaging workflows, and related services.

Depending on the context, Project FR may process information on its own behalf and may also process information on behalf of schools that use the platform to manage fundraising activity.

2. Information we collect

We may collect information that you provide directly to us, information generated through use of the platform, and information received from service providers and integrations.

Examples include:

  • account information, such as names, email addresses, login credentials, and role information
  • school, team, athlete, and campaign information entered into the platform
  • supporter and contact information, including names, phone numbers, and outreach status records
  • donation-related information, such as donor-provided name, email address, donation amount, message, and campaign attribution
  • device, browser, usage, and log information collected automatically when users interact with the platform
  • communications data related to support requests, platform notices, and fundraising outreach workflows

3. How we use information

We use information to operate, maintain, and improve Project FR.

Examples include using information to:

  • provide and secure platform access
  • set up and administer school fundraising accounts
  • facilitate supporter donations and payment processing
  • attribute donations to campaigns, teams, and athletes
  • support contact management and outreach workflows
  • respond to user inquiries and provide customer support
  • monitor performance, reliability, and fraud or abuse risk
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce platform policies

4. Payments and donation processing

Payment processing for donations is handled through third-party payment providers, including Stripe. Donation payments made through Project FR flow directly to the applicable school’s connected Stripe account as configured within the platform.

Project FR does not store full payment card numbers. Payment providers may collect and process payment information in accordance with their own privacy notices and terms.

5. Messaging and outreach

Project FR may support messaging workflows, including fundraising outreach by SMS. Phone numbers and messaging activity may be stored to support contact management, opt-out handling, delivery tracking, and compliance with applicable messaging rules.

If a recipient opts out of SMS messages, that opt-out status may be recorded and enforced across relevant platform messaging workflows.

6. How we share information

We may share information with trusted service providers and subprocessors that help us operate the platform, such as cloud hosting, payment processors, messaging providers, authentication providers, file storage providers, analytics providers, and customer support tools.

We may also share information when necessary to comply with law, enforce our rights, protect users, investigate fraud or misuse, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

We do not sell personal information to third-party advertisers.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the platform, maintain business and financial records, support school fundraising operations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the role of the user, the school relationship, and legal, accounting, audit, security, or operational requirements.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and users should also take steps to protect their credentials and devices.

9. Children and student information

Project FR is intended to be used by schools and school-affiliated users in connection with fundraising activities. Schools are responsible for determining whether and how the platform is used in connection with student information and for ensuring that their use of the platform complies with applicable school, district, state, and federal requirements.

If you believe information has been provided to us in a manner that violates applicable law or school policy, please contact us so we can review the issue.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your role and location, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, subject to applicable legal, contractual, security, and operational limitations.

Some information may need to be retained for legitimate business, school administration, audit, payment, fraud prevention, or legal compliance reasons.

11. Third-party services and links

Project FR may include links to third-party sites or rely on third-party services and integrations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we may revise the effective date above and post the updated version on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.
